Analysis of the Novel of My Sweet Orange Tree in the Context of Self-Compassion

In this study, it is aimed to examine the concept of self-compassion within framework My Sweet Orange Tree trilogy. To achieve aim, factors attachment theory, schemas, positive psychology, humanist acceptance-commitment therapy, culture, religion, gender and age, which can be effective in development individuals’ self-compassion, have been tried examined. The study was carried out with document analysis method, one qualitative techniques. It said that results obtained are consistent literature. There previous studies on but examining more together limited. Events experienced by character Zeze, theoretical perspectives, environmental helped us conclude individual’s development.
